Introduction

Welcome to The Hitting Log LLC ("The Hitting Log," "we," "our," or "us").

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of our website, applications, and services.

By creating an account or using The Hitting Log, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

Parents and guardians are responsible for accounts they create or manage for minors.

Accounts

You are responsible for:

• Keeping your login credentials secure.
• Providing accurate account information.
• Maintaining the security of your account.
• All activity that occurs under your account.

Subscriptions & Billing

Some features require a paid subscription.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing period.

Payments are securely processed through Stripe.

Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws.
• Attempt unauthorized access to our systems.
• Reverse engineer or copy the application.
• Upload malicious software.
• Interfere with service availability.
• Use the platform for fraudulent purposes.

Athlete Data

You retain ownership of the data you enter into The Hitting Log.

By using the platform, you grant The Hitting Log LLC permission to securely store and process that information solely for providing the services offered by the application.

Intellectual Property

The Hitting Log™, The Hitting Log LLC, HLP Score™, all proprietary analytics, branding, logos, graphics, software, website content, and application design are the intellectual property of The Hitting Log LLC.

They may not be copied, reproduced, distributed, reverse engineered, or used in competing products without prior written permission.

Availability

We strive to keep the service available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation.

Maintenance, updates, internet outages, or unforeseen technical issues may occasionally affect availability.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

Users may cancel their accounts at any time.

Cancelling a subscription prevents future billing but does not automatically refund previous payments.

Disclaimer

The Hitting Log provides baseball and softball statistics, analytics, and player development tools.

The application is intended for informational and training purposes only.

We do not guarantee athletic improvement, recruiting opportunities, roster placement, scholarships, or future performance.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Hitting Log LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the platform.

Our maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user during the twelve months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these Terms periodically.

When significant changes are made, the Effective Date will be updated.

Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
